How are air cooled data centers evolving to become more efficient?
New episodes of DCD>Keeping IT Cool - Air are available to stream on-demand.
Despite ‘liquid cooling’ being the buzzword on everyone’s minds, air cooling still remains the prevalent method of cooling a data center. This is unlikely to change anytime soon, but as demands for denser, more powerful compute continue to increase, data centers need to rethink their air cooling strategies to continually improve their efficiency and prolong the lifetime of their technologies.
This broadcast will examine the latest developments in the air cooling space. In particular we will address how air cooling can be evolved to become more efficient and help data centers meet their 2030 carbon targets. It is also key to take a proactive approach to future developments, so this series will examine how operations can embed retrofitting potential into their facilities to prepare for a potential transition to liquid cooling.
