Strategies for reducing operational expenditure whilst maximizing operational resiliency and efficiency
Panel: Innovating cooling technology to meet sustainability goals: What is the future of heat reuse technology?
Sustainability has fast become one of the key priorities for data centers, and technological innovation is critical to supporting the adoption of more energy efficient methods of operation. Harnessing energy in the form of waste heat has been utilised for sometime, although it has not become the mainstream; and this is where opportunity to increase ERE is being presented. But how can data centers accelerate their progress in this area?
Liquid cooling with higher waste heat temperatures innately provides greater potential for heat reuse. This panel will examine the correlation between liquid cooling adoption and heat recycling, the technologies available to advance this trend, and the broadening areas that data center waste heat can be reused in. Our experts will also address the limitations in this space such as the geographies of data centers, as well as scalability of this technology to understand the its true viability o in enhancing the efficiency of DCs.
