For International Women's Day 2022, we gave women in the industry free access to our industry-leading DCT credential

Global staffing requirements for full time data center employees are forecast to grow to 2.3 million in 2025, putting increased pressure on existing staff shortages. This is exacerbated by the fact that just 10% of the data center workforce is made up of women*.

To help accelerate the growth potential of female professionals in the sector, and make a progressive step towards greater inclusion and equality, for #IWD2022 we were thrilled to offer women from across the industry the opportunity to take our Data Center Technician credential (usually worth $2,400) completely free-of-charge.

We had an amazing response to the campaign, with over $300,000 worth of free training provided to women across the industry and participation from across the full data center ecosystem, including: AECOM, AirTrunk, Arup, Bloomberg, Bouygues, CBRE, Data4, Databank, Digital Realty, Dow Jones, Equinix, Fidelity, Jacobs, Knight Frank, Main One,Major League Baseball, Microsoft, NTT, Royal Bank of Canada, Schneider Electric, T5 Data Centers, Turner & Townsend, Vertiv, Xtralis and many more!
