Data centers are evolving. UPS are also evolving. Both these evolutions place new demands on the batteries that power the UPS. We will discuss how EnerSys continually advance our battery technology to develop power solutions which offer greater reliability, longer service life, lower maintenance, and ultimately a reduced Total Cost of Ownership. We will discuss the rising interest in Lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries and why data center operators should consider advanced Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology to optimise the performance of their UPS and power systems.
