What kind of flexibility is being build-into networks? How are they evaluating and deciding on single-mode vs. multimode cabling? How are they deciding which transceiver technology is being used? Do they need to utilize IEEE standards-based technologies only or are manufacturer proprietary technologies accepted? What is the expected lifecycle of network infrastructure cabling now? How often are equipment refreshed happening?
