•Achieved HITRUST certification in 2017, establishing company as the first and only HITRUST certified digital diabetes prevention program (Digital DPP) provider in the country.

• Completed SOC 2 Type 2 attestation in 2018 across all five trust principles.

• Established IT strategy built on a SaaS-first policy for corporate systems, with responsibility for over 100 technology partners.

• Created enterprise risk management program including governance of >130 identified risks and >600 established controls. Implemented governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solution to manage risks, controls, regulations, and multiple compliance frameworks including HIPAA, HITRUST and SOC2.

• Added responsibility for customer support and participant support organizations in 2018. Implemented ZenDesk as a unified tracking system for support, IT, security, operations, and medical affairs.

Jake Ring is the Co-Founder & CEO of GIGA Data Centers. Jake and his partners started GIGA to provide multi-tenant colocation services using their seventh generation modular system design, delivering scalable solutions for colocation customers with “unlimited power” up to 50kW per rack, delivered at a guaranteed high-efficiency PUE of 1.15.

As founder of dcBLOX Inc. Jake built data centers in Atlanta and Chattanooga to provide retail colocation and network connectivity services. Prior to this, Jake was the CMO for GE Energy Management where he led the development of strategy and commercialization initiatives globally, and guided the creation of the GE Critical Power business. Within GE Critical Power, he was GM of the Structured Systems unit that delivered containerized critical power systems.

Before GE Jake spent over eight years managing portfolio companies for private equity investors of electrical & electronic manufacturing businesses. 


Jake holds a B.S. degree in Math & Computer Science from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. Jake also attended leadership development courses at GE’s John F. Welch Leadership Development Center at Crotonville, NY.
