Over 400 IT infrastructure professionals will be attending DCD>Canada to examine how IT transformation is reshaping data center and cloud architecture. The opening morning plenaries will focus on artificial intelligence - from its capacity-sapping enterprise IT requirements, through to its use in the monitoring and control of data centers themselves.

Also covered extensively at the event is the upgrading of infrastructure. “Canada's facility profile reflects a mix of new and aging facilities. DCD research has identified that much of Canadian data center investment is on retrofits and refurbishments. This reflects a need to update aging facility equipment to achieve better energy efficiency and/or to support higher densities, which will help enterprises and IT service providers alike deliver digital transformation.” notes DCD CEO, George Rockett.
