Gearing up for the new era

”The Awards are all about bringing together the very diverse patchwork of countries and organisations that make up the Asia Pacific. Our entrants have shared examples of best practice and innovation as the region gears for a major new era of digitalization based on multiple sources of demand. The entries we received this year show that data centers from Mumbai to Shanghai, from Wellington to Seoul are ready for what this next era of the digital infrastructure will bring. On behalf of DCD, the organizing committee and panel of judges I’d like to thank everyone who has entered the Awards,” stated Stephen Worn, CTO at DCD Group, and host of the Awards Ceremony.

This year DCD added new Award categories including Hybrid IT Project of the Year, the Energy Smart Award, Construction Team of the Year and Data Center Manager of the Year. After two entry rounds and two thorough judging rounds for the first seven categories, the following winners are announced:

DCD would like to congratulate all Finalists and, of course, the Winners. We look forward to seeing greater innovations and best practices in 2020 as everyone continues to share their success and achievement from a multitude of locations and companies across the Asia Pacific region.

The DCD Awards will now move onto the Global Awards to culminate into the Global Awards Dinner in London on December 5th. A number of entries from the Asia Pacific are already entering the DCD’s Global Awards to continue the strong showing of APAC entrants on the global data center stage.
