– The Durst Organization

The very heart of it

“Equinix will be a fantastic addition to 1133,” Jonathan Durst, president of The Durst Organization which owns the building, said.

“We have upgraded a Mid-Century Modern Classic with the technology and amenities that twenty-first century tenants demand. 1133 now provides the best of both worlds - a timeless design and state-of-art operations.”

Equinix was represented by Cushman & Wakefield, while The Durst Organization was represented in-house.

The colo and interconnection company has been expanding rapidly as of late, both with internal data center projects, and several acquisitions, most notably with its $3.6 billion purchase of Verizon’s data center portfolio in the US and Latin America, which is expected to close this year.
