The conditional letter of award (LOA) was given to KAG’s subsidiary, DVM Innovate, which provides end to end services to telcos, financial and government organizations. The company is aiming to have the servers up and running in 15 months.

Malaysian data center wholesale and retail revenue has risen significantly in recent years; according to a recent report by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corp (MDEC), the country’s data center revenue is expected to grow by another tenth in 2017, from 900m ringgit ($204m) last year to 1bn ringgit ($226m) in 2017.
