Netrality Data Centers has acquired Indy Telcom Center, a carrier hotel provider in Indianapolis, Indiana.

As part of the deal, Netrality will acquire a 9-acre campus on West Henry Street close to the White River. The site houses 205,000 square feet (19,000 sq m) across 11 buildings dedicated to both wholesale and powered shell tenants as well as fiber customers.

The campus features 13 metro network operators and seven long-haul network operators including Lumen, Crown Castle, Telia Carrier, Windstream, Zayo, and US Signal. DataBank, Lifeline, and 365 Data Centers also have facilities close by.

Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed, but Netrality said Indy’s management team will remain in place.

Netrality will now own and operate seven carrier hotels in six markets throughout the US. The company has more than 3 million square feet and 100MW of capacity across St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri; Houston, Texas; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Chicago, Illinois; and now Indianapolis.

Macquarie Group’s Macquarie Infrastructure Partners IV fund and Netrality’s management team acquired the company from funds managed by Abrams Capital Management in 2019.
