Russian telecommunications service provider Teslatel has commissioned a new data center in Moscow.

The data center is located in Moscow’s northwest Sokol district, and is the company’s first. With a total capacity of 230kW, the site has capacity for 40 server racks, according to Comnews.ru.

The company said the new Tier II-quality facility is equipped with two independent power lines.

“Five large telecom operators have inputs to the data center, if necessary, it is possible to order fibers to other data centers or traffic exchange points,” said Deputy General Director of Teslatel Ilya Smirnov. “This offer fits perfectly into the middle segment of data centers, which have become less actively offered on the market.”

Based in Moscow, TeslaTel offers communication services to telecom operators, enterprise, and government agencies across the city.
