Chairman of CISPE & SVP Public Affairs, OVHcloudAlban Schmutz started the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact to drive cloud and data industries towards climate neutrality by 2030 in Europe. This is a self-regulatory initiative supported by 17 trade associations and 25 business as well as European Commission: ClimateNeutralDataCentre.net
Alban is currently the SVP of Business Development & Public Affairs for OVHcloud, and Chairman of CISPE.cloud (Cloud Infrastructure Services Providers in Europe). He is a Founding Member, Board Member and Deputy interim CTO of Gaia-X, the largest European Cloud project, gathering 200 member companies. He is Chairman of Public Affairs working group and Vice-President of EuroCloud France, and Member of the Board of SystemX Institute for Research and Technology (Complex systems, Systems of Systems engineering).
