Christopher Wellise

Vice President, Global Sustainability, Equinix

Christopher recently joined Equinix as their VP of Global Sustainability at Equinix and has expertise on a broad variety of critical IT related ESG issues and leadership practices.

Prior to joining Equinix, Christopher lead AWS' global sustainability effort - focused on creating the world's most sustainable cloud infrastructure. He worked across teams to create the strategy and drive the path to net zero carbon by 2040. In his previous role as VP and Chief Sustainability Officer at Hewlett Packard, Chris also set the sustainability vision, strategy and implementation plan for the company with a focus on increasing sustainability performance and customer and investor value.

Chris holds a Master of Science in Environmental Studies from San Jose State University.
