Dharman Sury
Chief Financial Officer, DATA4Dharman Sury was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer for DATA4 in November 2015, with a mandate to structure the Group’s financing in line with its strategic plans for organic and external growth.
Dharman brings with him 19 years of experience in technology, media, telecoms and in high-growth emerging markets.
He began his career as a senior civil servant with the French Treasury, managing France’s sovereign lending to emerging countries, and moved on to design and implement national research and innovation policies in his capacity as a ministerial aid. He joined Orange and led the corporate M&A team in APAC, instigating investment opportunities upwards of one billion dollars and managing a tech start-up in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Dharman spent the last four years at the forefront of the digital transformation with Orange Business Services, as their head of international sales.
He was nominated Top 10 CFO for 2017 by DAF Magazine and ranked in the Top50 Global Leaders in Data Center Finance in 2019 by Data Economy. He was awared Chevalier des Palmes Académiques in 2007 for his contribution to France's Research. He has been elected as Conseiller du Commerce Extérieur de la France and mentors SMEs on their international expansion.
