Jim Whittaker
Global Product Owner, Engineering Services, JLLJim Whittaker is Global Product Owner, Engineering Services for JLL. Previously, Jim was Director, Engineering Services - Americas. Before joining JLL he was President/CEO of FEA with over 30 years of experience in the facilities and engineering industries. Jim earned his Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees in Civil Engineering and is a registered professional engineer. Jim’s area of specialization is facilities asset management, creating high-performance facilities organizations, and facility management technologies. Jim is currently Past Chair of IFMA, Board of Directors; Chair, Board on Infrastructure and the Constructed Environment (BICE) of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine; Department of State OBO Industry Advisory Council member; Chair of the ANSI US/TAG for ISO 267/FM Standards and Convenor of ISO WG3 developing the FM management systems standard. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, certified facility manager (CFM) and teaches Facility Management courses at George Mason University, International Facility Management Association (IFMA), and APPA - Leadership in Education.
