Global Business Development Manager – Critical Power, DEIF

Liam P. Round is a Global Business Development Manager at DEIF, responsible for the development and growth of the critical power sector including hybrid readiness, intelligent power management solutions (iPMS), data centre design, and advisory services. His daily tasks include strategic planning and execution across the OEM, EPC, and consultancy sectors. Liam has more than 20 years of experience in power generation and has worked across the Middle East, the Americas and Europe, giving him a great understanding of the world’s back-up power demands and broad experience with strategic alliances, marketing, account leadership, and engineering. Prior to joining DEIF, Liam worked for companies including Caterpillar, Sulzer, and MAN on some of the world’s biggest and most challenging projects in military, airport, hospital, and data centre applications. A trained systems engineer based in the UK, Liam holds Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Status in data centre design, is a Project Management Professional (PMP®), and a thought promoter regarding renewable adoption.
