Technology Site Services Specialist - Digital Services, Sydney Water

Stephen Hodgson’s responsibilities have included the facility and infrastructure readiness of three co-location data centres for the NSW Department of Family & Community Services shared services provider, NSW Businesslink.

He also handled external client account management, thermal analysis, capacity planning, and the asset management for all equipment located in these centres.

Stephen was actively involved with the virtualisation, consolidation and subsequent relocation & installation of all NSW Department of Family & Community Services existing IT infrastructure into the NSW Whole of Government Data Centre (Metronode now Equinix), constructed at Silverwater NSW.

He was also involved in providing technical advice to the NABERS for Data Centres rating methodology project and was the 2010-2012 NSW chapter president of AFCOM.

Stephen is a proactive & goal oriented problem solver with expertise in IT, Project Management, Sales & Account Management, Media Communications and Elite Team Performance Meta Coaching. 

He excels at leading groups and has the tenacity to ensure strategic goals or cultural changes are achieved by clear direction and strong leadership. 

Stephen possesses comprehensive knowledge in project management and business process re-engineering disciplines enhanced by a background in IT, radio broadcasting, performance coaching and training. 

He is a skillful communicator and trouble-shooter with well-developed analytical skills, thereby ensuring good teamwork and an energetic and productive working environment. His co-authored book 55 Ways to Improve Your Business was a 2017 Amazon Best Seller in six countries for two weeks.
