Global data center hardware maintenance company Park Place Technologies has acquired Entuity, a specialist firm that offers networking monitoring and visibility, as well as asset control software.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Park Place Technologies said the deal will position it so that it is the only global hardware maintenance provider that offers monitoring, automated maintenance, network operations center (NOC) services, event management, probable cause and IT Data Analytics from a single supplier.
Network uptime
Entuity has offices in Boston and London, and there is no word yet on the impact of the acquisition on employee numbers. Park Place said this was its first acquisition outside of the third-party maintenance category.
It should be noted that Entuity is an established player in the network performance monitoring sector, where it provides the software analytics needed to keep networks performing, as well as visibility into issues before they impact business services.

This will be Park Place's 12th acquisition since 2016 and second in 2019, following the acquisition of UK-based MCSA Group in April.
In February 2018, Park Place purchased Singapore-based Axentel Technologies’ operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the Philippines. The next month, it purchased Irish hardware maintenance business Origina Technology Services,
The Cleveland, Ohio-based company has also previously purchased Latin America-based CMG-Nicsa and Houston-based Solid Systems CAD Services (SSCS).
