Chris Pumphrey

Executive Director, Douglas County Economic Development Authority

Chris is the Executive Director of Douglas County Economic Development Authority. Chris has recruited over 1,000 new jobs and help attract over $4 billion of capital investment in economic development efforts for Douglasville and Douglas County. Prior to this role, Chris led numerous business recruitment efforts for the Georgia Department of Economic Development. While at the department he worked on new company locations resulting in more than 3,000 new jobs to the state and $850 million of private capital investment. Through his time in economic development, he advised many of Georgia's communities on improving their competitive position.
