Norway's Green Mountain has completed TikTok's first data center building. The facility will be Europe's largest data center powered by renewable energy and a PUE of 1.2. Green Mountain is also working with other industries and researchers to explore the possibility of reusing waste heat from the facility.

The TikTok data center is part of 'Project Clover', an effort by the company to ease national security concerns by storing European user data within Europe and setting a new standard for data security.
