Tony GauntVice President – Colocation, Hyperscale ANZ, SEA & India, Vertiv
Tony is responsible for the development of the Vertiv business in the Data Center, Colocation, Cloud and Financial Services markets in Asia and most recently expanded into India; incorporating the company’s full suite of product technologies and service offerings across the region. This involves the establishment of strong senior relationships at the customer-level; acquiring, maintaining and disseminating industry best practices; coaching and mentoring vertical account managers across the region and developing strategic partnerships to facilitate greater reach into these market.
Tony is a seasoned and outstanding sales leader, first joining the industry with Chloride in the UK in 1996 as Northern Area Sales Manager. Since then, he has held roles of increasing responsibilities within sales and strategic account management including the position of UK Sales Manager. He transferred into Chloride’s Australia business in 2005. In 2011, Tony joined Vertiv, then Emerson Network Power, in Australia as a result of Emerson’s acquisition of Chloride, where he has held National roles in Australia before joining the Asian team in 2013 as the Director for IDC and Global Enterprise Accounts.
Tony holds a Masters Degree in Management from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Australia.
