The journey to environmental sustainability - act now or get left behind
Where would we be without data centers? They are the backbone of our increasingly digital world. Staying connected 24/7 isn’t a choice these days. It’s an imperative across all facets of our lives. It should come as no surprise that the demand for data centers is only increasing. Over the next 20 years data center capacity is expected to double. What does this mean for data centers of the future?
Not only must data center operations provide resilient connectivity, but they need to be more sustainable throughout their full lifecycle: design, build, operate, and maintain. During this session, we’ll explore the areas of environmental impact for a data center, the enormous pressure on global players – from customers and government regulators who expect and demand sustainability, and discuss the four key drivers required to enable sustainability in data center operations.
This session took place on October 12, 2021
