DCD is excited to announce the expansion of the Association Pavilion at the upcoming DCD>Connect | London event, taking place on September 17-18 at the Business Design Centre in central London.

After a successful launch in 2023, this dedicated pavilion on the Show Floor will bring together some of the most influential associations from across Europe to one collaborative space.

Event attendees will have the opportunity to meet with these major industry players, learn about their latest initiatives, and collaborate on industry challenges.

Participating associations include the Italian Datacenter Association, SpainDC, The Data Centre Trade Association, The European Data Centre Association, Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact, German Datacenter Association, Danish Data Center Industry, Dutch Data Center Association, Swedish Datacenter Industry, Belgian Digital Infrastructure Association, iM Women, techUK, and Infrastructure Masons.

In addition, Infrastructure Masons will be hosting a UK Chapter Meeting at DCD>Connect | London, while iM Women will be hosting a women-only Welcome Lunch, giving their members an opportunity to discuss the latest work and updates from the iMasons community.

Dutch Data Center Association (DDA)

Dutch Data Center Association (DDA) is the trade association for data centers in the Netherlands, the bedrock of the Dutch economy. The DDA unites leading data centers in The Netherlands in a common mission: to strengthen the economic growth and awareness of the data center sector to government, media and society.

The DDA works from three focus areas: Energy & Sustainability, Education & Employment and Digital Economy & Mainport. We are committed to make the power usage of the industry more sustainable and efficient, and we focus on the reuse of data center residual heat. Furthermore, in close cooperation with education institutions, we create data center courses and enthuse students to choose a career in the data center industry. Lastly, we promote our industry and our position as Digital Gateway to Europe.

The German Datacenter Association (GDA)

The German Datacenter Association (GDA) unites operators and owners of data centers in all dimensions. The GDA is supported by leading research institutes, municipalities and a network of partners involved in the data center operations ecosystem. Founded in Frankfurt am Main in 2018, the association offers data center operators in Germany a platform in their work together on promoting the industry’s growth. Its declared goal is to sustainably improve framework conditions for data center operation in Germany, the public’s perception of the data center industry, and to enhance the appeal of German locations in the eyes of investors. GDA members and partners concentrate their know-how in six competence groups – the so-called Think Tank - with a view to working together on the association’s key issues. The development of a strategy for sustainable digitization and intensive dialog with representatives from politics, local authorities and the real estate industry are just as much a focus of the working groups as the promotion of young IT talent and transparent communication of, for example, sustainability goals already achieved and aspired to by the data center industry.
