The company said it had been broadcasting from one of the downed towers, and said programming will continue on AM 1490 and FM 104.5.

According to the station, live streaming will also continue uninterrupted on its website. There were no injuries reported at the site.

WCHS-AM said it's working to restore its main signal, but is currently unable to provide a timeline for when it will be back on air.

The storm also caused damage to houses, ripping roofs off, uprooted trees, and led to power outages for thousands of Appalachian Power Company customers.

Appalachian has called in 1,200 additional workers from places including Virginia, Indiana, and Missouri to support its crews restore services.
