A data center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has been acquired from a local managed service provider.
Recently formed colocation firm Alerify, Inc. announced this week that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of the hosting and Internet services business of Elevated MSP. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The building, 2330 Vartan Way, was built in 1981 and is owned by local real estate firm the Vartan Group. The two-story building totals 68,830 square feet (6,400 sqm) and has a number of tenants alongside Elevated MSP.

Kochanowski founded Alerify this year. He has previously held roles at Comcast, Windstream, and Sprint, as well as other business services companies.

Private investor Hogue took over the data center in 2021 when he bought colocation firm Netrepid, which itself had acquired the data center in 2009 when it bought local hosting firm Pennsylvania Online.
Hogue managed Netrpid since its bankruptcy around 2019. After acquiring the firm, he merged it with his existing managed services company Gibraltar IT to form Elevated MSP in 2021.
