Amazon has fully launched its Luna cloud gaming service in the US, after a trial invite-only early access period.
The company, which operates the world's largest cloud platform, will offer games through different channels.
Free titles will be available to Amazon Prime subscribers, with the core Luna+ Channel priced at $5.99 a month (but set to increase to $9.99). The Retro Channel, which has older games, party-game Jackbox Channel costs $4.99/month.
Ubisoft+, a selection of titles from French games publisher Ubisoft, costs $17.99.
The company will allow streamers to connect their Luna accounts to Twitch, a platform for streaming game video for other people to watch, that Amazon acquired back in 2015 for $970 million.
"Luna harnesses the power of the cloud, enabling customers to instantly play high quality, immersive games on the devices they already own," Amazon Entertainment Devices and Services VP Daniel Rausch said.
"Today, we're excited to make Luna available to all customers in the mainland United States, with a unique offer for Prime members to play free games, new Twitch broadcast features for creators, and a broad lineup of titles for any gamer to enjoy."
The launch of Luna comes after Google's cloud gaming service Stadia prepares to quietly wind down and become a white-box solution.
