This will include Ultrascale's immersion cooling technology, which the company says can reduce energy consumption by up to 70 percent while eliminating the use of water and toxic chemicals.

The two will also offer site master planning, capital partner management, strategic data center development, cloud capacity sourcing, and end-user deployment services.

The solutions can be deployed in both new builds and existing facilities with a phased implementation to reduce downtime.

Arnold Magcale, founder and CEO of Ultrascale Digital Infrastructure said: “We’re both deeply committed to holistic solutions that are uniquely designed to stand the test of time, rather than cookie-cutter fixes that can leave clients behind the curve – scrambling to catch up. Ultrascale’s sustainable cooling technology and customizable data center designs are a perfect complement to Caddis’ ground-breaking real-estate infrastructure approach. We’re excited to begin partnering with the top talent at Caddis and look forward to delivering exceptional results for our clients.”

“Partnering with Ultrascale Digital Infrastructure allows us to elevate our service offerings and provide our clients with innovative and sustainable data center solutions,” said Scott Jarnagin, founder and CEO of Caddis Cloud Solutions. “Most traditional data centers rely on freshwater cooling systems to manage the heat generated by electronic equipment, but those systems are costly and waste massive amounts of water. By incorporating Ultrascale’s advanced cooling technology, we can continue to deliver solutions that significantly reduce energy consumption and environmental impacts, setting a new benchmark for the industry.”

In July 2024, Ultrascale announced that it would be using Cargill's plant-based immersion cooling fluid. The company remains in stealth mode, having not yet developed any data centers. The company was founded in 2023 and its founder, Arnold Magcale, was previously a director of data centers at colo pioneer Exodus Communications in the late 1990s. He also founded Nautilus and was its CTO until he left for Ultrascale.

Ultrascale has previously announced partnerships with Legrand’s USystems and Lonestar Data Holdings.

Caddis Cloud Solutions is an advisory firm specializing in data center development, cloud capacity sourcing, and end-user deployment. The company officially launched in July of this year, having previously been known as CloudSphere Consulting.

The company was founded by Scott Jarnigan who previously led cloud service deployments as the head of the Site Selection team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. and had roles at Microsoft. The company claims to have worked with a "wide range of clients" though declines to share any names.

The previous company - CloudSphere Consulting - has testimonials that mostly reference Jarnigan's work at Oracle.
