The one-story, 40,000 sq ft (3,700 sqm) greenfield data center is located on a six-acre site. The facility includes two 10,000 sq ft (929 sqm) data halls, which will support up to 2MW of IT load each. Brasfield & Gorrie was the project’s general contractor.

“Brasfield & Gorrie completed the construction of the AUBix data center on time and in budget, delivering the high-quality facility required to house a data center able to withstand Category 4 winds,” said AUBix CEO and cofounder Andrew Albrecht. “From providing input on the initial design through the final finishing details, the Brasfield & Gorrie team was helpful, professional and a true pleasure to work with.”

“Brasfield & Gorrie is dedicated to building strong communities everywhere we work. AUBix and Advocate Management Partners are strengthening Auburn and its surrounding areas with this investment in technology, and we are honored to partner on this important project,” said Brasfield & Gorrie VP and division manager Dustin Smith.

The purpose-built facility sits on a six-acre site that can be expanded to more than 100,000 sq ft (9,300 sqm) and 12+MW.
