A cryptomine data center company is to build a mining site in Texas.

Dataprana, Inc. this week announced plans for a new cryptocurrency mining site in La Marque, Texas.

The company will launch an immersion-cooled facility with 30MW of available capacity in Fall 2024.

It will reportedly feature infrastructure from immersion system manufacturers such as Intelliflex and Arctic Systems.

La Marque is a city in Galveston County, 40 miles south of Houston and just west of Texas City.

Founded last year, Florida-based Dataprana aims to reach 87MW of capacity in operation by Q1 2025.

The company currently has more than 140MW in development, including its first 1.5MW AI data center build. Aimed at supporting the latest Nvidia AI hardware, this project is set to launch in the first half of 2025.

“I’m convinced that our first AI build-out project will be a great stepping stone in helping us find the right partners in the AI data center space that are willing to tap into our power capacity and further expand together," said Arseniy Grusha, co-founder and CEO of Dataprana.

Intelliflex infrastructure features a container-based system supporting up to 216 ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) miners per pod.
