DatacenterDynamics is extending its coveted data center awards to cover the whole of the Asia Pacific, and is now calling for entries in ten categories, from design and innovation to IT optimization.

The Awards run yearly in LATAM, EMEA and North America, and previously in Greater China.

A number of high profile judges have already been selected for the APAC awards, including ex principal data cnter engineering specialist for Yahoo and Apple Scott Noteboom – now of LitBit -, hot and cold-aisle concept creator Dr Robert Sullivan, Uptime Institute EMEA managing director Philip Collerton and data center planning director for Tencent Zhu Hua.

Entries to the Awards will close on July 11 and winners will be announced at a gala ceremony in Singapore on 17 October this year.

Categories are:

  2. Innovation in the micro data center
  3. Innovation in the medium data center
  4. Innovation in the mega data center
  5. Innovations in outsourcing
  6. The green data center
  7. Improved data center energy efficiency
  8. Innovation in IT optimization
  9. Data center special assignment team of the year
  10. Outstanding contribution to the industry

Past awards winners at other global ceremonies include Digital Realty, Equinix, Facebook, IBM, NTT, China Mobile, China Unicom, Tencent and Huawei and Munters.

With the data center industry maturing fast across the region, DatacenterDynamics is looking forward to awarding more local and international players that are making headways in the Asia Pacific market.
