Digital Realty has installed direct liquid cooling (DLC) capabilities at its La Courneuve data center in Paris, France.
The company said that its new facility is high-performance computing (HPC)-capable.

"Digital Realty’s liquid cooling solution enables our customers to deploy their most compute-intensive applications in an environment that is optimized for energy efficiency. Our new HPC-capable data center in Paris is another step towards achieving our vision of becoming the meeting place for companies, technologies, and data to come together.”
The PAR8 data center has a total building size of 26,000 square meters (280,000 sq ft) and a utility power capacity of 19,200kW. It is the first of four data centers at the planned Paris Digital Park. First announced in April 2020, the Paris Digital Park will offer up to 85MW of power and 40,000 sqm (430,500 sq ft of space).
Digital Realty declined to share the vendor, but confirmed that the cooling will be closed loop.
