Google's mid-Atlantic DCS manager, Adam Black, has left the company.

Black managed teams delivering Google's data center capacity in Virginia, the world's largest data center hotspot.

"And I’m out. 5.5 years. Another chapter opening soon! More to come in January," Black said on LinkedIn.

Prior to his role as DCS manager, Black spent over a year as program manager for Google's global data centers division.

He joined the company from Facebook (now Meta), where he was in charge of delivering multiple data center projects in the US.

Before his hyperscale jaunt, he worked at QTS, DLB Associates, Eaton, and Johnson Controls.
