HP Enterprises Services’ has announced its secure government cloud hosting service, ECS-G VPC (Enterprise Cloud Service-Government Virtual Private Cloud) and its desktop service WP 360G (WorkPlace 360G) have been granted Pan Government Accreditation for secure deployments in the Cloud.

The accreditation listed the services with IL3 (Impact Level 3) accreditation, which covers all the data center, security and service management operations required to deliver the Cloud.

HP Enterprise Services said the accreditation means central and local government organizations can now use secure cloud services with assurance of an element of Critical National Infrastructure- previously only available to larger departments.

HP currently supports more than 700 SMEs in its UK supply chain.

ECS-G VPC is delivered from HP-owned UK data.
