Customers have flooded Vodafone's official X account with complaints of service disruption on both 4G and 5G services, although some have separately reported issues with broadband services.

Vodafone responded with a similar message to a number of users, inviting customers to contact them directly.

“We are aware of a technical issue affecting some of our customers. Our team are working hard to fix the issue and we thank our customers for their patience," said Vodafone in a statement to DCD.

In a further update at around 4 pm, Vodafone confirmed that it had resolved the issue which impacted some of its customers.

In September, Vodafone was impacted when EE suffered an outage.

That particular outage meant that Vodafone users couldn't connect to each other or non-EE users, while EE users could call other EE subscribers or non-Vodafone customers. But when either side tried to call or text the other, the connection failed.
