Mobile coverage solution firm InfiniG has deployed its in-building mobile infrastructure at a hotel in Florida.
The company this week announced the deployment of its Mobile Coverage as a Service (MCaaS) solution at the Gale South Beach Hotel in Miami.
The company said the deployment offers multi-carrier mobile coverage services to all guests in all locations in the Gale Hospitality Group-owned hotel, which opened earlier this year. Guests will have the choice of connecting to their preferred mobile network for access to voice and data services.
The MCaaS solution consists of physical on-site hardware and a cloud-based platform for managing mobile network performance. The solution has been developed in collaboration with Airspan and Druid Software.
The connectivity will not require additional authentication or log-ins and the solution is said to support major US mobile networks and their respective partners.

Founded in 2023, InfiniG specializes in its Mobile Coverage as a Service solution. Company CEO Joel Lindholm previously worked at an innovation team at Meta for mobile networking development.
Last month, InfiniG deployed its MCaaS solution at Parkside Elementary School in Salt Lake City, Utah. In collaboration with AT&T, T-Mobile, and Intel, InfiniG said it provided connectivity and safety to a school that previously did not have access to mobile coverage.
