Sat on 45.2 acres, the 757,390 square foot (70,365 sqm) facility is currently a manufacturing and distribution center for Acco Brands.

Sidney is a town in Delaware County, New York. According to the listing, the main manufacturing area was built in 1980, with additions completed in 1992 and 1994.

Manufacturing occupies almost 300,000 sq ft (27,870 sqm), with distribution accounting for 378,000 square feet, along with offices and ancillary services including a cafeteria, fitness center, and data center.

The data center spans 3,700 sq ft (345 sqm) within a three-story office portion of the site. The property includes an on-site substation powered by NYSEG.

The site is occupied by Acco Brands, which owns dozens of brands making everything from gaming peripherals and air purifiers to stationary and office supplies, including laminators.

According to Acco earnings results, the Sidney site is owned by Acco. However, the company has said it is aiming to exit the property – possibly by the end of 2024. The company said it could save up to $12 million through the closure.

According to the sales brochure, Acco originally came to Sidney as the Keith Clark Company in 1946. Through a series of acquisitions and mergers, the plant became an asset of Acco Brands in 2012. Approximately 300 employees remain at the facility.

Acco is a known Microsoft Azure customer.
