Reddit and Netflix have restored services after they were impacted by major outages last night.
There is no indication the two issues were related.
Streaming giant Netflix blamed "technical issues" for the issue that impacted users worldwide, including the US, UK, Australia, and France.
The outage hit the company between 5:00pm and 8:00pm ET, with Netflix stating that it had resolved the problem.
More than 20,000 people reported the outage on Downdetector at its peak at 6:52 pm ET.
Reddit's issues began midday (ET), and were confirmed by the company at 12:47pm. By 2:17 pm ET, Reddit said that things were largely fixed.
“We’ve restored services to users and will be taking steps to ensure a full, sustained recovery," said the company in a statement.
At its peak, close to 45,000 users reported Reddit being down on Downdetector.
Reddit hasn't confirmed the cause of the outage yet.
