OData has broken ground on its fourth Mexican facility, QR04, in the Querétaro region.

OData is yet to officially announce the new facility and further details have not been shared.

Also in Querétaro, the company is currently expanding its QR01 campus, which first went live in 2022. The QR02 campus went live earlier this month, offering 30MW of IT capacity at full build-out.

OData’s QR03 facility is under construction in El Marqués and will offer 150MW. It is scheduled for completion in Q1 2025.

Founded in 2015 by Brazilian private equity firm Patria Investments, OData was acquired by US operator Aligned in a deal that closed last year.

As well as Mexico, OData offers colocation services from four data center sites in Brazil, two in Chile, and one in Colombia. The company launched a campus in Rio and expanded its Santiago campus last year.

OData also broke ground on its fifth Brazilian data center in the São Paulo metropolitan region last month.
