RackWare announced that its hybrid cloud software called RackWare Management Module (RMM) can now combine users' on-prem infrastructure with IBM's SoftLayer cloud resources.

RMM automates migration of on-prem workloads into cloud, scaling of cloud infrastructure up or down and bursting from on-prem into cloud.

The software spins up cloud resources and spins them down automatically when they are no longer needed, lowering the user's operational cost.

RackWare’s CEO Sash Sunkara said: “We believe that our software will help make IBM Cloud a compelling solution for data center workloads around the world.”
