Reka, an artificial intelligence (AI) research and product company, has selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to support its AI models.

The company will use OCI to create multimodal models that will support over 20 languages and are trained on OCI AI Infrastructure based on Nvidia GPUs.

"OCI's high-performance AI infrastructure capabilities, dedicated engineering support, and global footprint will continue to enable us to innovate and ship new models quickly and efficiently."

Reka developed multimodal AI models that help organizations deploy generative AI applications using inputs from text, code, images, and videos. By working with Oracle, the company hopes to expand its global reach and advance its development of AI solutions.

In addition to Reka using OCI's infrastructure for its research and development, the Reka Core and Reka Flash models will also be available via the Oracle Cloud Marketplace.

OCI's Supercluster can scale up to 4,096 OCI Compute bare metal instances with 32,768 Nvidia H100 Tensor Core GPUs that are connected by ultra-low-latency RDMA cluster networking.

OCI began offering compute instances with Nvidia H100 GPUs in September 2023.
