Russian financial services firm Tinkoff Credit Systems will locate at Moscow’s DataSpace data center.

TCS data processing systems were launched in a test mode in January 2013 and went live to operational mode on July 1 this year in the DataSpace site located in the 6,200 sq mt certified Tier III facility.

David Hamner, Dataspace CEO said, “We are very pleased to count Tinkoff Credit Systems among our early-adopter customers, as the Tinkoff brand denotes quality and service, as does the developing DataSpace brand. Considering the nature of Tinkoff’s business, where the back office is really the front office, and reliable, secure data processing being so central to their business, we are gratified that Tinkoff chose the best facility and operator in the market.”

Viacheslav Tsyganov, TCS CIO said: “We at Tinkoff Credit Systems take no short cuts in our service delivery system, and we found DataSpace to be the most reliable, secure provider, and made the choice even though the cost was slightly higher.”

“Our agreement with TCS is a long-term one and meaningful to our growth as a company,” Hamner said.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
