The pod is designed to be easily craned on and off a low loader. Other features include fully integrated power and cooling, power protection, remote monitoring, a multi-stack design, and access control.

The company added the pod is available in three designs, based on the Bitmain S19 Pro miners, ranging in capacity from 0.5MW x 84 S19s to 2MW x 379 S19s.

Priest added in the post that Bitcoin mining containers had been a popular request from clients.

Founded in 2021, Sonic Edge is a provider of prefabricated and micro data centers for Edge, on-premise, and telecom applications.

In May 2023, Sonic Edge looked to deploy modules across the country in a partnership with Deep Green, however, this deal has since fallen through.

At the end of last year, Digital Shovel announced the release of its modular data center offering, designed for Bitcoin mining.
