London-based colo, connectivity and cloud company C4L announced yesterday it was experiencing issues connecting to Telecity’s Sovereign House facility in London.

Rumours flourished that Telecity was suffering an outage.

Speaking to Datacenter Dynamics today a spokesperson for Telecity gave the following statement –

“TelecityGroup did not suffer any service issue yesterday at its Sovereign House facility.”

C4L posted updates over the course of yesterday morning, where it posted the fault was down to a P1 reported hardware failure.

At 11.26am BST, C4L posted that its engineers had been monitoring services following recent changes to fully restore connectivity.

It said that while the majority of services had been restored, its engineers were still seeing packet losses affecting some of its customer services.
