Data center infrastructure company Vesper Technologies (Vespertec) has announced it will be launching an AI lab environment in Stockport, UK.

The company said the site will be the first in Europe to feature both Nvidia Grace Hopper architecture and SN5600 800 Gbps ethernet switches and will provide customers with access to both under the company’s Test Drive program.

According to Vespertec, Test Drive provides a risk-free way for its users to explore, benchmark, and validate advanced computing technologies.

In addition to the GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip, the facility also contains an Nvidia PCIe-based GPU server which will allow users to compare performance across different environments, with the whole setup connected by an Nvidia Spectrum-4 SN5600 switch and Edgeware interconnect.

The program is available via remote access, which Vespertec said will allow a wide range of customers to use the technology without being geographically constrained. The company added its engineers have been working collaboratively with Nvidia and are able to support customers with setting up and running their test drive programs.

“We understand the complexities involved in adopting the latest solutions, which is why we've created this resource,” said Allan Kaye, co-founder and director at Vespertec. “By offering remote access to the newest hardware, we're enabling our customers to thoroughly evaluate these technologies before purchase, and providing a valuable troubleshooting resource post-implementation.”

He added: “This initiative is a natural extension of our customer-first philosophy, ensuring we're there for our clients - from initial exploration to long-term support.”
