Virgin Media has reportedly been bit an outage that has left its users without access to their email accounts.
Customers of the ISP have taken to social media and Downdetector to report the issue.
According to Downdetector, as of 10:15 am this morning (June 19), the number of issues reported by users on the site was 1,183.
As of yet, there's been no update given by Virgin Media on when the issue will be fixed.
"Looks like the website with service status on has crashed now. The App is still working. Estimated time until fix now 2:10 pm. Oddly specific," read one comment.
DCD has contacted Virgin Media for more information.
In a statement, a Virgin Media spokesperson said: “We’re aware of an issue that is affecting our Virgin Media email service for customers. Our teams are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible, and we apologize for the inconvenience caused.”
Virgin Media has been hit by outages before, notably two on the same day in April, when the telco was forced to apologize twice.
