Jake Rasweiler

Senior Vice President of Innovation, American Tower

As Senior Vice President of Innovation, Jake Rasweiler leads the U.S. Tower Innovation team, with ownership for surveying emerging technologies and identifying possible acquisitions and partnerships to create new business opportunities.

Jake joined American Tower in 2017 as Senior Vice President for Managed Networks and was responsible for the sales, leasing operations, engineering, and innovation of in-building products. As strategies for the in-building business and innovation evolved, he transitioned to complete leadership of innovation for U.S. Tower. Beginning his career in radio frequency engineering for AT&T, Jake has since held many leadership positions within the telecommunications industry, spanning mobile network operations, the Internet of Things (IoT), and power utilities.

Jake Rasweiler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Economics from Colgate University and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from New York University. He also earned an M.B.A. from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University.

He has helped to launch several start-up companies and served as a board member for both Vence Corp and Federated Wireless.
