Panel: How to build at scale and speed in a new era - what has COVID-19 taught us?
Every aspect of our lives has been impacted by the global pandemic and the building of data centers has not been immune to the effects. From supply chain issues and factory shutdowns, to permitting documents sat on desks for weeks and factory witness testing moving to the virtual world, all of these factors have led to design changes, delayed project timelines and subsequently an impact on the bottom line.
So how will the construction of data centers be different after the pandemic? How will the financing of new projects be impacted? Experts will share their insights into how the future distributed workforce, lack of mobility and safe working measures will change how we find the right staff and carry out new builds, and how the various supply chain challenges faced will be met. Join this panel discussion to hear how the industry can get back to the levels of speed and consistency of quality that we were at pre-pandemic.
