DC Indonesia has opened a new data center in Cibitung, West Java, Indonesia.

The company last week opened its fourth data center building (JK5) to the east of the capital Jakarta and has a total power capacity of 15MW.

“Moving forward, DCI will continue to support Indonesia’s digital economy infrastructure and innovate new ways to become the best and most reliable data center in South East Asia,” the company said on LinkedIn. “DCI also committed to focus on operational excellence while maintaining international IT standards.”

JK5 is the fourth data center DCI has opened and the company now has a capacity of 37MW. The company plans to open 15 facilities the company over the next few years, which will take the company to around 300MW of capacity.

Established in 2011, DCI floated on the on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in January.

A number of companies are looking to expand into Indonesia; Tencent is building its first facility in Jakarta, Microsoft announced its first Azure cloud region in the country earlier this year, and Alibaba is looking to build its third facility in the country before the end of the year. Google completed work on its first Indonesian facility last year, and AWS’s first facility in the country is due to go live next year.
