Gcore, an Edge artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud provider, has secured $60m in a Series A funding round.
The funding round was led by game developer and publisher Wargaming, with participation from Constructor Capital and Han River Partners.
The funds will be invested in Gcore's technology and platform, including the purchase of more AI servers powered by Nvidia GPUs. It is Gcore's first external capital raise since the company was founded over a decade ago.
Gcore's cloud infrastructure enables organizations to deploy their AI workloads (both training and inference) at the Edge. Gcore has 180 Edge nodes across six continents, more than 25 cloud locations, and a total network capacity of 200Tbps.

Earlier this year, Gcore launched a serverless Edge solution called FastEdge. FastEdge has been designed for cloud-native development and provides low latency (average of 30 ms) and high performance without the complexity of server or infrastructure maintenance and management.
FastEdge is designed for workloads like AI inference, advanced image editing, personalization, A-B testing, and quick authentication.
In April 2024, the Luxembourg-based company expanded into South Korea with NHN Cloud, with an initial 320 Nvidia H100 GPUs stacked onto 40 servers. Each server also has 2 terabytes of data storage and 112 CPU cores, with a bandwidth of 3.2 Tbps.
The company launched similar clusters in Luxembourg and Wales in 2023.
